Senior Night is Tuesday for Lady Vikings

The Siuslaw Vikings softball team will say goodbye to five seniors in their season finale Tuesday against South Umpqua at the Siuslaw High School field.  

Game time is 5 p.m.  

Seniors Hannah Bartlett, Taylor Dotson, Nicole Gordon, Anna Petras and Anna Stonelake will be honored before the game.

Monday, the Vikings had the daunting task of playing Far West League leader Douglas at Winston.

The Lady Trojans, who swept a doubleheader at Siuslaw on April 15, 4-0 and 7-1, won 6-0 to clinch the league title.

The Vikings are now 3-11 in league and 6-15 overall.
