Siuslaw sophomore Trent Reavis was third in the shot put and fifth in the discus in Friday's finals of the 4A boys state track and field championships at Hayward Field in Eugene.
Reavis went 50 feet, .25 inches in the shot put and 138-2 in the discus.
Siuslaw freshman Murray Bingham finished fourth in the boys 3,000 finals in 9:05.92a.
Siuslaw juniors Celie Mans and Morgan Bingham placed third and fourth the girls 3,000 meters. Mans was timed in 10:25.53a and Bingham in 10:25.70a. Both times were personal records.
In the girls high-jump finals, Vikings junior Destinie Tatum cleared 5 feet to finish eighth. She later qualified for Saturday's finals in the 800 meters.
In the girls long-jump finals, junior Annmarie Precht finished fourth at 16-10, while senior Mikaela Siegel was seventh at 16-1.
In preliminary races Friday, Siegel qualified for Saturday's finals in the 100 hurdles with a 4A state-best time this season of 15.68a.
Precht qualified for Saturday's finals in both the 100 and 200, running a 13.03a and a 26.58a Friday.
Freshman Kaeli Ramos finished 14th in 1:03.54a and did not qualify for the finals in the 400.
In team scoring, the Siuslaw girls stood third after Friday's four finals with 19 points. Marshfield was first with 31 and Astoria second with 30. Scappoose was fourth with 12.
The Siuslaw boys were fourth through five events with 15 points. Newport had 25.5, North Bend 19.5 and Henley 18.
