Siuslaw Vikings junior Trent Reavis won the shot put and the discus and finished second in the javelin with a personal record Saturday at the Junction City Invitational track and field meet.
Reavis won the shot put with a season-best 50 feet, 9 inches and the discus at 136-0. He was second in the javelin at 154-1.5 and seventh in the 110-meter hurdles in a personal-record 18.06a.
In other top boys performances:
> Senior Clark Hooper won the 110 hurdles in 16.30a and the 300 hurdles in a personal-record 42.45a.
> Junior Kyle King won the triple jump at 38-3.
> Senior Jack Pickell was second in the 1,500 in a season-best 4:30.10a.
> Freshman Ryan Rendon-Padilla was third in the javelin at 153-1.
> Freshman Sam Myers tied for third in high jump with a personal-record 5-6.
In top girls performances:
> Senior Carissa Oliver won the shot put with a season-best 39-5 and the discus at 127-8.
> Senior Celie Mans won the 1,500 in 5:09.32a and was second in the 800 in a season-best 2:33.97a.
> Junior Kaylee Graham was second in the 300 hurdles in a season-best 52.51 and third in the 100 hurdles in 17.64a. Graham was second in the long jump at 15-1.5.
> The Siuslaw 4x400 relay team was first in 4:26.97a and the 4x100 relay team placed third in 55.28a.
> Freshman Hannah Rannow was third in the 1,500 in 5:35.07a.
Next up for the Vikings is the Far West League meet at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Prefontaine Track in Coos Bay.
