The Elmira Falcons pounded 14 hits and took advantage of eight Siuslaw errors Tuesday to take a 12-1 Sky-Em League softball victory over the Lady Vikings at Siuslaw.
The Lady Vikings close their season Friday with a doubleheader with Marshfield at the Siuslaw Varsity Field. First pitch is 3 p.m.
Siuslaw will honor its six seniors — Angela Bartlett, Lupita Figueroa, Audrey Lowder, Hayley Meier, Alyssa Richards and Lexie Smith — prior to the first game.
The Lady Vikings are now 3-10 in league and 3-16 overall. Elmira is 9-4 and 16-7 and ranked No. 15 in Oregon School Activities Association Class 4A.
Siuslaw junior Nina Aaron was 2-for-3 with a double and batterymate Lexie Smith was 1-for-3 with an RBI.
Elmira's Carly Grossmiller was 4-for-5 with 4 runs scored and 2 RBIs.
