Cottage Grove defeats Lady Vikings, 17-3

The Cottage Grove Lions rolled to a 17-3 victory over the Siuslaw Vikings in a Sky-Em League softball opener Tuesday at Cottage Grove.

Friday, the Lady Vikings have a home-opening doubleheader with Elmira. First pitch is 3 p.m.

In other Sky-Em League play, Marist Catholic defeated Junction City in five innings, 15-1, and Elmira thrashed Marshfield, 22-8.
