Siuslaw boys finish third in Woahink Invite

Siuslaw seniors Samuel Ulrich, Kyle Hughes and Jacob Blankenship placed seventh, ninth and 14th Saturday to lead the Vikings boys to third place in the Woahink Lake Invitational. Crater and Philomath both scored 58 points, with Crater winning with the tie-breaking best sixth-place runner. Siuslaw had 71, Cottage Grove 77, North Medford 106, Thurston 133, Harrisburg 183, North Bend 185 and Pacific 259. Cottage Grove senior Jaden Owens won the individual title in 17 minutes, 14.1 seconds.
