Siuslaw sophomore Ricky Huff and senior Talamoa Tupua won individual titles Saturday at the Myrtle Point Invitational wrestling tournament at Myrtle Point High School.

Huff pinned all three of his opponents to run his record to 9-0 for the season. Huff needed 2 minutes, 44 seconds to beat fellow Viking Matthew Morales in the championship match.

Earlier, Huff pinned Fisher Wahl of Reedsport Charter in 1:54 in the quarterfinals and Tyler Huerta of Myrtle Point in 3:43 in the semifinals.

Tupua beat Wyatt McCarthy of Coquille, 3-2, in the 160-pound final. Earlier, Tupua pinned Conner Grauf of Siutherlin in 3:12 in the quarterfinals and decisioned Bryson Bellior of Glide, 8-6, in the semifinals.

Junior Scott Simmons placed second, losing to Kodi Courtright of Myrtle Point in the finals by major decision, 16-3.

The Vikings are scheduled to compete in the Bay City Duals on Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 21-22, at Marshfield.
