Senior guard Jake Miles tossed in 14 of his game-high 17 points in the second half Tuesday to lead the top-ranked Marshfield Pirates to a 48-36 victory over the visiting Siuslaw Vikings.
The Pirates improved to 19-2 overall and 7-0 in the Far West League, two games up on South Umpqua and North Bend, who are tied for second at 5-2.
The Vikings fell to 1-18 overall and 1-6 in league.
Siuslaw sophomore center Trent Reavis had a team-high 15 points.
In other league games Tuesday, North Bend beat South Umpqua 36-24 and Douglas defeated Brookings-Harbor 60-57.
The Vikings will host Brookings-Harbor at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Glen Butler Court.
Siuslaw closes its season with a home game Tuesday, Feb. 16, against Douglas and a trip to North Bend on Friday, Feb. 19.
Both games are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. tipoffs.
