Vicki Soran was elected treasurer and Diane Conlee secretary at Tuesday's special meeting of the Siuslaw Athletic Booster Club at the Siuslaw High School library.

Soran replaces Eric Tanikawa and Conlee replaces Lynnette Holdahl.

No president has been elected, and Gina Castro-Brandt is now a board member as past president.

Continuing board members include Jennifer Waggoner, vice president/auction chair; Kim Pickell, membership chair, and Rachelle Krause-Campbell, member at large.

Next up for the booster club is the Siuslaw High School Hall of Fame induction dinner on Aug. 19 and the club's big fundraiser of the year, its auction-dinner on Aug. 20.

The sixth annual Hall of Fame dinner will be a buffet at Three Rivers Casino.

Inductees for 2016 include Dick Pickett, Doug Kelley, Les Conley, Harold McClellan, Danielle Wilson, Tony Winthers-Stonelake, Brent Sanford, Wayne Jackson, the 1996 boys cross-country team and the 1997 boys track-and-field team.

The auction has been dubbed the Booster Barn Bash Auction & Dinner at the King Family Ranch, five miles up the north fork of the Siuslaw River, from 4 p.m. "til the cows come home."

There will be a silent auction and a live auction, featuring Coast Radio personality Bob Sneddon.

The SABC meets monthly during the school year, at 6:30 p.m. the last Monday of the month at the high school library.
