The Siuslaw Vikings boys basketball team fell to 1-1 on the season Friday with a 51-44 nonleague loss to the Elmira Falcons at Glenn Butler Court.

Junior post Trent Reavis had 8 rebounds and a team-high 15 points, while senior Kyle King added 8 rebounds and 10 points.

The Vikings made 16 of 34 field goals (47.1 percent) and 11 of 26 free throws (42.3 percent).

Siuslaw next plays Tuesday at Newport at 7 p.m. Newport beat Elmira at Elmira on Wednesday, 73-38.
