Siuslaw senior Brittany Long had a team-high 14 points and 12 steals Tuesday to lead the Vikings girls basketball team to a 52-26 nonleague victory at Reedsport.

The Vikings improved to 3-5 for the season, winning three of their past four games.

Vikings senior Destinie Tatum added 12 points and 8 rebounds and sophomore Alyssa Richards had 10 points and a team-high 10 rebounds.

Siuslaw's next game is Friday, Dec. 30, at Corbett. The Vikings then play at Waldport and then two games in the Sky-West Crossover Tournament at Douglas.

The Vikings' final nonleague home game is 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10, against Junction City.

Siuslaw opens Far West League play on Friday, Jan. 13, hosting South Umpqua at 6 p.m. at Glenn Butler Court.

Reedsport fell to 4-7 for the season. Reedsport hosts Mapleton on Dec. 28 in its next game.
