Stephen Parmenter scored 28 points Thursday as the Pleasant Hill Billies defeated the Siuslaw Vikings, 71-60, on the opening night of the Les Schwab Eagle Booster Classic at Junction City.

The Vikings, 2-2, close out the boys basketball tournament with a game at Harrisburg at 5:45 p.m. Friday and a game at 2 p.m. Saturday against Colton at Junction City.

Jake Hickson led Siuslaw with 14 points, while fellow seniors Jared Brandt and Kyle King had 11 each.

The Vikings follow the tournament with five home games, starting Tuesday with a 5:45 p.m. tipoff against Cottage Grove.
