Pleasant Hill's Logan Pruitt, a 6-foot-5 senior, scored 30 points Friday to fire the Billies to a 74-53 victory over the Siuslaw Vikings in a nonleague boys basketball game at Glenn Butler Court.

Siuslaw fell to 2-6, with two of those losses to Pleasant Hill. The Billies beat the Vikings, 77-39, in the opening round of the Les Schwab Eagle Booster Club Classic the previous week.

Pleasant Hill, ranked No. 8 in Class 3A, improved to 6-1.

Freshman Braydon Thornton led the Vikings with 16 points.

The Vikings next host Stayton at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday. The Eagles, 5-1, are ranked No. 7 in Class 4A.

In other games Friday involving Sky-Em League teams, Marshfield beat Philomath, 64-58; Newport beat Elmira, 66-48, and Marist lost to Valley Catholic, 45-41.
