Santiam Christian exploded for a 36-0 halftime lead and rolled to a 50-15 victory over the Siuslaw Vikings in a prep football game Friday at Adair Village.    

Siuslaw fell to 4-2 overall and 1-1 in 3A Special District 2 North. Santiam Christian is 6-0 and 2-0.

Eagles junior running back Marcus Fullbright scored four touchdowns, including runs of 71 and 55 yards in the first half.

Santiam Christian, ranked No. 2 in the state in the OSAAtoday 3A coaches' poll, expanded its lead to 50-0 after three quarters, and the fourth quarter was played in running time.

The Vikings scored a pair of touchdowns in the fourth quarter, the first on a 2-yard dive by sophomore Camp Lacouture and the second on a 77-yard pass from junior Elijah Blankenship to sophomore Braydon Thornton.

The potent Blankenship-to-Thornton combination was quiet most of the night, with Blankenship intercepted four times in the first half.

The Vikings are home for their next two games, this coming Friday against Pleasant Hill and Oct. 25 against La Pine.

Siuslaw closes the regular season Nov. 1 at Sutherlin.

Pleasant Hill beat visiting La Pine, 21-0, in Friday's other league game.

Thursday, Sutherlin routed Harrisburg, 45-7.
