The Siuslaw Vikings baseball program wants to put the squeeze on you.

But that's in a good way.

The team has launched its annual citrus fundraiser, offering tasty Sunkist oranges (about 30 to a box) and Ruby Red grapefruit from Texas (16 to a box).

Price is $30 a box, with the juicy spheres ready for pickup prior to the winter break, from Dec. 12-19. Payment is made at the time of pickup.

"Yes, there has been an increase in the cost this year, as the cost to the program has been increasing," Siuslaw baseball coach Tom Shinn said.

"Please remember this is a fundraiser, and your support for the baseball program is much appreciated."
