Coast Radio will broadcast 16 Siuslaw Vikings boys and girls basketball doubleheaders this season, beginning with opening night Dec. 4 against visiting Newport.

Six nonleague and 10 Sky-Em League twin bills are part of the package, Coast Radio general manager Jon Thompson announced.

"We intend to stream most games on Facebook," Thompson said. "I have four broadcasters in a mix and match, including Randy Paredes, Wayne Sharpe, Bob Sneddon and new broadcaster Ryan Stahel."

Stahel served last season as an assistant coach for the Vikings'  boys team.

Coast Radio also will carry two Mapleton boys-and-girls doubleheaders, Jan. 14 (at McKenzie) and Feb. 6 (McKenzie at Mapleton).
