The second-chance half of the Siuslaw Vikings basketball season tips off tonight at Cottage Grove.

Both the boys and girls teams take on the challenge of Sky-Em League play, the boys at 5:45 p.m., the girls to follow.

Coast Radio will broadcast the twin bill starting at 5:30 p.m.

The Vikings boys finished preleague play 6-8 and ranked No. 26 in Class 4A by the Oregon School Activities Association.

The Cottage Grove boys are 4-10 and ranked No. 30.

The teams have two common opponents. Siuslaw lost to North Valley 52-38 and beat Mazama 52-43. The Lions lost to North Valley 66-48 and to Mazama 52-43.

The Lady Vikings finished preleague 1-13 and ranked No. 31, the Lady Lions 9-5 and No. 10.

Tuesday, the Vikings host Marist Catholic, the boys at 5:45, the girls to follow.
