More than two dozen Siuslaw Vikings wrestlers are entered today (Friday, Jan. 24) in the Sky-Em League duals at Marshfield.

Five Sky-Em League teams are entered, Siuslaw, Elmira and Junction City representing 4A Special District 2 and Cottage Grove and Marshfield representing Special District 3.

Marist Catholic does not have a wrestling team.

Siuslaw drew a bye in the first round, then will face, in order, Junction City, Marshfield, Elmira and Cottage Grove.

Junction City, at No. 6, is the only Sky-Em League team ranked in the OSAAtoday 4A coaches' poll.

Saturday, the Vikings will be at Marshfield for the Bay City Duals.

Ten schools are expected to compete, including Brookings-Harbor, Cottage Grove, Glide, Hidden Valley, Marshfield, Myrtle Point, North Valley, Rainier, Sheldon and Siuslaw.
