The Siuslaw Vikings volleyball team will host Marist Catholic at 6:45 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, in a Sky-Em League opener at Glenn Butler Court.

The Lady Vikings have a tentative schedule of 16 matches plus three tournaments.

Siuslaw opens the season Saturday, Aug. 29, hosting Douglas and Bandon at times to be announced.

The schedule, on the OSAA website, includes at least what super-human twin bill on Thursday, Sept. 10, when the Lady Vikings host Phoenix at 5:30 p.m. and play at Sutherlin at 7 p.m.

Best guess is both matches may be at Sutherlin. But that's just a guess.

Siuslaw was 10-12 in 2019, finishing 4-6 in league and ranked No. 18 by the OSAA.

The Lady Vikings advanced to state last season, losing a play-in at Astoria.
