Vikings' Hayden Muller pins her way to title

Siuslaw sophomore wrestler Hayden Muller pinned all three of her opponents, including top-seeded Divinity Farris of Reedsport in the finals, to capture the 135-pound division Saturday at the Cottage Grove Girls Invitational.

Muller, seeded No. 2, pinned Hannah Cook of Cottage Grove in 1:32, Lydia Loza of Corvallis in 3:09 and Farris in 2:52 for the title.

Siuslaw teammate Arrianna Brown pinned Sara Sargent of McKay in 3:47 to finish fifth at 110 pounds.

In the Cottage Grove Second Chance tournament, also Saturday only, Siuslaw's Hunter Petterson was first place at 124-127 pounds.

Other Vikings' results in the second-chance event Saturday:

Finals for the separate Cottage Grove Invitational were Saturday night, with Yoskar Delamora the only Viking in line for a title.
