Vikings' Braydon Thornton first-team all-star

Siuslaw sophomore adds first-team all-league in basketball to first-team all-district in football.

Siuslaw sophomore Braydon Thornton has been named the the Sky-Em League boys basketball all-star first team and all-defensive team, Vikings athletic director Chris Johnson announced Monday.

Teammates Brody Terry, a 5-foot-10 sophomore, and Liam McClellan, a 6-4 junior, were honorable mention.

The 6-foot-2 Thornton also was a first-team all-district wide receiver for the Vikings football team last fall.

Thornton was honorable mention all-league as a freshman on the 2018-19 Vikings basketball team.

The balance of the 2019-20 Sky-Em League all-star team is not yet available.
