Guidance coming for opening prep sports

Siuslaw Vikings athletics fans may get a glimpse of the near future following today's meeting (Wednesday, May 20) of the Oregon School Activities Association's executive board.

"We plan to have updated information out to schools shortly thereafter," OSAA executive director Peter Weber said.

The current suspension of facilities and coach-student physical interaction ends Monday (May 25), Weber noted in an email last week. It's likely to be extended.
