10th annual Siuslaw Open tees off Aug. 29

Putt for $10,000 or score a new Ford F-150 with a hole-in-one at the 10th annual Siuslaw Open, set for Saturday, Aug. 29, at Florence Golf Links.

The annual team event benefits Siuslaw Outreach Services, which last year provided help for 3,002 individuals in the Florence area.

Four-player teams will compete using Calloway scoring, with 17 teams teeing off in the morning session and 17 in the afternoon.

The event is limited to 68 golfers in each session.

Entry fee is $425 per team for morning, $375 for afternoon. Fee includes three putts for each player in the putting contest, three mulligans for each player, a meal, snacks and beverages.

Individual and team prizes will be awarded.

The event also will provide distancing guidelines as well as sanitize carts.

Registration closes Aug. 21.
