Buds4U clinches share of Miller League title

Buds4U has clinched a share of the Miller League Softball title with three playing dates and six games remaining.

Wednesday, Buds4U improved to 12-0 through six weeks of play at Miller Park with wins over Welton and ACC, 20-14 and 25-10, respectively.

Welton and ACC are tied for second at 6-6, with VRHI fourth in the four-team adult slowpitch league at 0-12.

Buds4U can clinch the title outright this coming Wednesday when they play ACC at 5:30 p.m. and VRHI at 7 p.m., both games on the North Field at Miller Park.

South Field games include Welton vs. VRHI at 5:30 p.m. and ACC vs. Welton at 7 p.m.

League play is scheduled to end Aug. 26.
