Senior guard Brody Terry scored 39 points Saturday but it wasn't enough to halt the Siuslaw Vikings boys basketball team's recent slump.

Siuslaw wrapped up the Sky-Em/Skyline Crossover on Saturday with a 67-58 loss to Mazama at North Valley High School.

The Vikings slipped to 6-6 for the season with their second loss of the Crossover and their fourth loss in the last six games.

"The outcomes of the games weren't what we wanted," Siuslaw coach Dylan Perry said, "but I thought the guys played their hearts out

"(I'm) hopeful to have a full week of practice leading up to the league opener against Marist."

Terry nailed seven 3-pointers and 6 of 7 free throws en route to his 39-point night. He scored 27 of his points in the second half, including 18 in the fourth quarter.

Izaac Mattson had 9, Chad Hughes 8 and Aiden Jefferis 2.
