Recent Siuslaw Vikings graduate Bailey Overton has received second-team honors on the OSAA Class 4A softball coaches 2022 all-state team that was released Thursday.

Marist junior Paige Doerr and Cascade senior Crystal Campbell were co-players of the year, Marist senior Malia Williams pitcher of the year and Cascade's Marty Jeppsen coach of the year.

Siuslaw was 0-20 in 2022 under first-year coach William Lipe, who stepped down after the season.

The school has yet to name a replacement.

The Lady Vikings move from the 4A Sky-Em League to the 3A Mountain Valley Conference starting next school year.
