Siuslaw AD looking to pack the stadium

Siuslaw High School is offering premium seating at Hans Petersen Field for the final two football games of the season, this Friday against Marshfield and homecoming the following Friday against Douglas.

"We're looking to fill our stadium for the last two home games," Siuslaw athletic director Jeromy Graybill said. "You need to get your premium reserved seating today."

Price is $8 per game, or $15 for the two-game package. Tickets are available at the school's front office.

The seats include the following perks:

— A premium midfield view of the field.

— Backrests for all seats.

— Guaranteed seat no matter when you arrive for the game.

Seats are first come, first served for best location.

"You also qualify for 'first dibs' to get your seat for postseason games, and again next season," Graybill said.

There are additional benefits for supporters.

"We are so motivated to fill the stadium for our hard-working team," Graybill said. "There will be an additional discount for booster-club members, families of current Siuslaw High School fall sport athletes, and for holders of the fall season general-admission family pass."

Kickoff is 7 p.m. for both games.

The Oct. 16 game against Douglas is also senior recognition night. Half of the Vikings' 22-player roster this season is comprised of seniors.
