Eighth-grader Zimri Ramos ran off with the individual title to lead Siuslaw to the Far West League middle school district championship Thursday at Tugman State Park.

Rams won the 3,000-meter race in 10 minutes, 48 seconds. Isaac Cutler of Harbor Lights was second with a time of 11:07.

Teammates Kiger Johnson and Brendon Jensen were fourth and fifth, respectively, as the Vikings totaled 44 points for first place. North Bend was second with 68.

The Siuslaw girls team had 69 points to finish second to North Bend, which had 33.

Marshfield eighth-grader Kaylee Delzotti won the girls title with a time of 12:02. Brea Blankenship had the top Siuslaw time at 13:01.
