Siuslaw hosts Coquille Dec. 4 in opener


The Clint Tatum era is set to begin for Siuslaw High School girls basketball.

"Coach Tatum is an excellent addition to our program, and he has all the tools to build a successful program," Vikings athletic director Jeromy Graybill said at the time of the hiring.

Tatum succeeded Carl Johnson, who retired.

The Vikings open their season at home with a nonleague game with Coquille at 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4.

Far West League play begins with a game Friday, Jan. 15, at South Umpqua.

First home league game is Tuesday, Jan. 19, against Marshfield.
