Douglas pounded out 10 hits in the opener and 14 in the nightcap to post a sweep of Siuslaw in a Far West League softball doubleheader Friday at Siuslaw High School.
Senior righthander Cidny Dupper won both games, tossing a 3-hitter and striking out 10 in the opener and a 4-hitter and striking out 7 in the second game.
Douglas, 10-3 overall, now leads the league with a 5-0 record.
Siuslaw fell to 0-4 in league and 3-8 overall.
The Vikings host Brookings-Harbor at 1 p.m. Saturday in a makeup game.
Siuslaw is on the road next week, playing a single game Tuesday at North Bend and a doubleheader against South Umpqua on Friday at Tri City.
Douglas jumped to early leads in both games. Taylor Holcomb launched a 2-run home run in the first inning of the first game for the Trojans, while Douglas used three hits and two Vikings errors to jump to a 3-0 lead in the first inning of the second game.
Junior catcher Nikki Launius was 3-for-6 in the doubleheader with a stolen base.
