The Dylan Perry coaching era at Siuslaw High School begins Wednesday, Nov. 30, when the Vikings boys basketball team opens its season by hosting Creswell at Glenn Butler Court.

Perry, a former Vikings assistant coach and a standout as a player, has a rebuilding project after last season's 1-21 record, incuding 0-12 at home.

The Vikings open Far West League play on Friday, Jan. 13, hosting South Umpqua.

Siuslaw's lone win last season was a league game at Douglas.

The Vikings feature two returning starters in juniors Jared Brandt and Trent Reavis. Other top returnees include senior Brogan Cornish and junior Jake Hickson.
