Senior Destinie Tatum had team highs of 16 points, 9 rebounds and 6 steals Tuesday to lead the Siuslaw Vikings girls basketball team to a 56-31 nonleague victory at Waldport.

Siuslaw improved to 4-6 for the season, winning for the third time in its past four games. Waldport fell to 1-9.

Senior Brittany Long had 12 points and 5 steals and senior Abby Watkins 9 points and 5 steals for the Vikings.

Siuslaw had 29 steals and 33 rebounds in the game.

The Vikings have two games in the Far West/Skyline Crossover Tournament this weekend at North Valley High School in Grants Pass.

Siuslaw is scheduled to play Phoenix at 10:30 a.m. Friday and North Valley at 11:15 a.m. Saturday.
