Lloyd Little and Kenneth Hampsten scored 33.5 points Thursday to win the Florence Duplicate Bridge Club's first weekly game of 2017 at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church.

David Gustafson and Marian Weiss were second with 29.5, John Reisner and Georgia Farman third with 26.5 and Roberta Parker and John Weatherwax fourth wth 25.5.

Doreen MacNeil and Beverly Rozaire-Brown shared fifth place with Anna Hendershot and Piney Van Riper with 17.5.

The Florence club is Oregon Central Coast unit 572 of the American Contract Bridge League, which sanctions the weekly games.

Club play is 12:30 p.m. Thursdays at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 19th and Tamarack.
