Two teams tie for first in weekly bridge game
John Reisner and Roberta Parker tied the team of John Weatherwax and James Smith with 13.5 points in Thursday's Florence Duplicate Bridge Club weekly game at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church.
Pat Oliver and Piney Van Riper were third with 8.5, Georgia Farman and Doreen MacNeil fourth with 7.5 and Lloyd Little and Kenneth Hampsten fifth with 7.
The Florence club is Oregon Central Coast unit 572 of the American Contract Bridge League, which sanctions the weekly games.
Club play is 12:30 p.m. Thursdays at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 19th and Tamarack.
