Haley Edwards scored 22 points Friday to lead the North Bend Bulldogs to a 59-27 victory over the Siuslaw Vikings in a Far West League girls basketball game at North Bend.

North Bend shares first place in league at 4-1 with Douglas and Marshfield. The Bulldogs are 12-6 overall.

Douglas forced a three-way tie at the top with a 56-51 victory at Winston. Brookings-Harbor rolled South Umpqua, 58-18.

Siuslaw is fifth in league at 1-4 and 6-12 overall.

Senior Destinie Tatum led the Vikings with 11 points and 7 rebounds. Senior Brittany Long had 5 points and a team-high 4 steals.

Siuslaw opens the second half of league play next Friday at South Umpqua.

The next home game for the Vikings is Tuesday, Feb. 7, against Marshfield.
