The Siuslaw Vikings' boys and girls bowling teams have punched their tickets to the state championships Feb. 24-26 at KingPins Bowling Center in Portland.
Both the boys and girls finished second place Sunday at the District 4 Qualifying Tournament at North Bend Lanes.
North Bend beat Siuslaw 406-362 in the boys final and Willamette beat Siuslaw 290-286 in the girls final.
The Vikings boys defeated Thurston in the semifinals. Thurston defeated Marshfield by 11 pins for the third seed.
The Vikings girls earned the top seed and Willamette had to beat Cottage Grove in the semifinals for a shot at the district title.
Teams from five other districts also will be sending teams to state.
KingPins Bowling Center is at 3550 SE 92nd Avenue in Portland.
Last season, the Siuslaw boys finished 15th in state and the girls finished 14th.
