Siuslaw senior Kainan Lane pinned all three of his opponents to win the 285-pound division and junior Richard Huff worked 1 minute, 40 seconds to win at 113 pounds Wednesday in the Far West League wrestling tournament at North Bend.
Lane, scoring 24 team points, pinned freshman teammate Matthew Horrillo in the championship match in 1 minute, 13 seconds. Earlier, he pinned Anthony Petralli of Marshfield in 4:39 and Jaret Remington of South Umpqua in 2:00.
Huff pinned Ben Buehler of Brookings-Harbor in 34 seconds in the semifinals and Jakob Allen of Douglas in 1:06 in the finals to score 22 team points.
Horrillo, finishing second, scored 14 team points
Vikings junior Riley Jennings (160) and senior Nick Steinman (170) posted third-place finishes to score 10 and 9 team points, respectively.
Siuslaw finished fifth in the six-school event with 79 points.
The Vikings are scheduled to compete in the Cottage Grove Invitational on Friday and Saturday and the Special District Tournament Feb. 10-11 at South Umpqua.
The Oregon School Activities Association Class 4A championships are Feb. 24-25 in Portland.
