The Siuslaw Vikings are still alive for a postseason spot in Class 4A boys basketball.

Kyle King, Brogan Cornish and Jake Hickson combined for 32 points Friday to help lead the Vikings to a 55-39 victory Friday over the host Brookings-Harbor Bruins in Far West League play.

Siuslaw now shares second place at 4-4 with Marshfield and Douglas with two games to play in the regular season.

Siuslaw, 9-12 overall, plays at Douglas on Tuesday, then returns home Friday for senior recognition night against league-champion North Bend.

North Bend clinched the league title Tuesday with a victory over Marshfield to move to 8-0 in league.

King led the Vikings on Tuesday with 12 points, while Cornish and Hickson had 10 each.

Jared Brandt pulled down 13 rebounds, 10 on the defensive end, and had a 6 assists to lead Siuslaw.
