The Siuslaw Vikings cheerleaders placed 11th Saturday in the Oregon School Activities Association Class 4A state championships in Portland.
Gladstone scored 175.8 points to win the state title by two-tenths of a point over Sweet Home, which scored 175.6.
Siuslaw totaled 131.8 points based on three categories — 40.9 for building skills, 51.9 for tumbling/jumps and 39.0 for overall routine.
North Bend, the only other Far West League school in the championships, was seventh with 141.8 points.
Delphian was the runaway Class 3A/2A/1A champion with 170.3 points, with Cascade Christian second with 154.7.
South Albany won the 5A title with a score of 204.4 and Westview the 6A title with a score of 190.5.
Newberg won the small schools coed title with a score of 210.9, and McMinnville the large schools coed title with a score of 181.4.
