Lloyd Little and Kenneth Hampsten captured the Florence Duplicate Bridge Club's club championship Thursday at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church.

Little and Hampsten scored 30 points to edge the team of John Reisner and Georgia Farman, who scored 29. David Gustafson and Marian Weiss were third with 27.

John Smith and John Neimand were fourth with 25, John Weatherwax and Roberta Parker fifth with 22.5 and Pat Oliver and Piney Van Riper sixth with 16.5.

The Florence club is Oregon Central Coast unit 572 of the American Contract Bridge League, which sanctions the weekly games.

Club play is 12:30 p.m. Thursdays at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 19th and Tamarack.
