Three teams tie for first in duplicate bridge
Three teams tied for first place Thursday in the Florence Duplicate Bridge Club's weekly game at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church.
David Gustafson and Marian Weiss, John Weatherwax and James Smith and Georgia Farman and John Reisner each scored 13 points.
Roberta Parker and Doreen MacNeil were fourth with 6.5 and Anna Hendershot and Kenneth Hampsten fifth with 4.5.
The Florence club is Oregon Central Coast unit 572 of the American Contract Bridge League, which sanctions the weekly games.
Club play is 12:30 p.m. Thursdays at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 19th and Tamarack.
