The Siuslaw Youth Soccer Association's spring season kicks off Saturday at Miller Park, with matches in age groups from age 5 to 18.

Action gets underway at 9 a.m. with a pair of Under6 matches and an Under12 match.

The SYSA launched last fall, taking over players previously served by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Lane County.

The not-for-profit club is affiliated with the Oregon Youth Soccer Association.
