The Siuslaw Athletic Booster Club is out for blood.

And it could be yours.

"We need new blood, new networks, and fresh eyes," SABC acting president Gina Castro Brandt said.

"We are looking for members with younger children to start taking over."

Castro Brandt has served as president the past two school years, and will not make it a third year.

The next SABC monthly meeting is 6:30 p.m. Monday, April 24, at the Siuslaw High School library.

The club is busy planning its annual auction (its second Booster Barn Bash, Aug. 19 at the Bob King Family Farm), as well as setting the table for next school year.

"Our May meeting will be our nomination and election month for the following school year," Castro Brandt said. "Our auction committee is well into planning. The next (auction committee) meeting is the first week of May."
