The Siuslaw Vikings softball team will get a heavy dose of action in their final week of play.

The Vikings will play five games in four days, including a single game Monday at home against North Bend. First pitch is 5 p.m.

Tuesday, Siuslaw will play the doubleheader with Brookings-Harbor that was scheduled for Friday (May 5) but postponed due to field conditions. First pitch is 3 p.m.

Thursday, the Vikings wrap up their season with a twin bill at North Bend. First pitch is 3 p.m.

This past Tuesday, Makayla Holmes drove in the winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning as Brookings-Harbor edged the Vikings, 7-6, in a Far West League game in Brookings.

Siuslaw is now 1-9 in league and 4-15 overall. Brookings-Harbor, winning its first league game, is 1-9 and 5-12.

NOTE

Seven of 11 varsity players for the Vikings are seniors: Katherine Dodson, Jenicah Ecker, Heidi Jones, Sara Keel, Nikki Launius, Chehalis Stinger and Claire Waggoner.
