Diane Conlee was reelected secretary and Vicki Soran treasurer at Monday's monthly meeting of the Siuslaw Athletic Booster Club at the Siuslaw High School library.

Karen Perry and Jeromy Graybill were elected members at large.

The SABC still is seeking a president, vice-president and membership chair for the 2017-18 school year.

Outgoing officers include Gina Castro-Brandt, who served the past two years as president; vice-president Jennifer King Waggoner and membership chair Kim Bollinger Pickell.

Also Monday, the club added $3,000 to the Ian Foster Fund, the Hall of Fame Class of 2017 was announced and proposals were made for cheerleading and for a summer boys basketball tournament.

The next meeting of the auction planning committee is 6 p.m. at the Beachcomber.

The auction-dinner, dubbed Booster Barn Bash II, will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 21, at the Bob King Family Farm.

The induction dinner for the Hall of Fame is 5:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 18, at Three Rivers Casino. Tickets are $20.

This year's inductees include seven individuals and two track-and-field relay teams.

The individuals include the late Ray Hines (class of 1948), Dick Hoberg (1968), Rich Ross (1984), Kelli Lang (1985), David Brackney (1991), Ricky Lowe (1994) and Deacon Perkins.

Teams named include the 1983 and 1984 girls state champions 4x100 relay team and the 1967 boys mile relay team.

The two-time girls champions featured Kelli (Lang) Hagen, Tammy (Courtney) Johnson, Terri Gortler and Shelly (Smith) Conro.

The boys mile relay team featured Bob Hylton, Everett May, Greg Wells and Larry Ulrich. Hylton and Ulrich already are in the Siuslaw Hall of Fame as individuals.

The club usually meets the final Monday of the month during the school year. The May meeting was a week early due to the Memorial Day Weekend holiday.
