Seven individuals and two track-and-field relay teams will be inducted into the Siuslaw Athletic Hall of Fame on Friday at Three Rivers Casino.

The individuals include the late Ray Hines (class of 1948), Dick Hoberg (1968), Rich Ross (1984), Kelli Lang (1985), David Brackney (1991), Ricky Lowe (1994) and Deacon Perkins.

Teams named include the 1983 and 1984 girls state champions 4x100 relay team and the 1967 boys mile relay team.

The two-time girls champions featured Kelli (Lang) Hagen, Tammy (Courtney) Johnson, Terri Gortler and Shelly (Smith) Conro.

The boys mile relay team featured Bob Hylton, Everett May, Greg Wells and Larry Ulrich. Hylton and Ulrich already are in the Siuslaw Hall of Fame as individuals.

The induction dinner will be a buffet at 5:30 p.m. Friday at Three Rivers Casino. Tickets are $20.

The event is sponsored by the Siuslaw Athletic Booster Club.

The booster club also will be holding its annual dinner/auction at 4 p.m. Saturday at the King Family Farm.

Last year's Booster Barn Bash raised nearly $50,000 in support of Siuslaw middle school and high school athletics.
