Siuslaw's QB Club meets at 11 a.m. Friday

Jamin Pool starts his second season as head football coach of the Siuslaw Vikings

The first meeting of the Quarterback Club for Siuslaw Vikings fans is 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 1, at the high school lecture hall.

The Vikings kick off their season at 7 p.m. Friday, hosting Elmira in a nonleague football game at Hans Petersen Field.

"Make sure to download the Siuslaw Football app from your App Store for all updates, rosters, games and a schedule of events," Vikings coach Jamin Pool said.

Reserved seat tickets for Vikings home games are now on sale at the high school office. Season tickets are $25 for five home games.

Last year's season ticket holders have priority rights to the same seats in 2017. Seats are midfield, and most come with a backrest.

A fall season family pass of $50 is good for general admission to both football and volleyball games.

Tickets are available at the office during business hours, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday (except Sept. 1).
