The Siuslaw Vikings softball team will have a 25-game schedule plus a jamboree to look forward to when it begins practice Monday, Feb. 26.

The Vikings will compete in a jamboree Monday, March 12, at Newport, and return March 26-27 to play four games in two days at the Newport Tournament.

Siuslaw also has nonleague games with Sutherlin, Sweet Home, Yamhill-Carlton and Coquille.

The first of 15 Far West League games is Tuesday, March 10, against Marshfield.

Returning players include seniors Ariel Rosinbaum (outfielder), Katlin Meskimen (outfielder) and Abby Coday (pitcher-utility) and sophomore outfielder-shortstop Mia Collins.

The Vikings are coached by Sean O'Mara. His staff includes Jamie Hunt, Jodi O'Mara, Kim Gibson and Shari Fisher.
