The three coleaders of Far West League girls volleyball share more than 3-1 records.

They also share playing Siuslaw on the road in the first half of league play.

That's why Tuesday's match with South Umpqua may be a must-win for the Vikings.

A win would keep Siuslaw a game out of first place entering the second half.

A loss would leave the Vikings in a deep hole with all three coleaders on the road for the second half.

Thursday, the Vikings were swept at home for the second time, losing to North Bend in three hard-fought sets, 25-23, 25-23, 25-21.

Junior middle blocker Makenzie York had 11 kills, 5 aces and 2 block solos to lead the Vikings.

Siuslaw is entered in Saturday's tournament in Sisters.
