Scappoose held off the Siuslaw Vikings 2-1 Saturday in the Junction City Invitational girls volleyball tournament in Junction City.

The Indians won 25-21, 20-25, 15-11.

The Vikings are 7-7 overall and 3-3 in league as they prepare to host a pair of Far West League matches this week, Tuesday against Brookings-Harbor and Thursday against Douglas.

First serve in each match is 6:30 p.m.

Siuslaw completes league play next week on the road, Tuesday at North Bend and Thursday at South Umpqua.

The Vikings also are scheduled to compete in the Marshfield Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 14.
